Recently released at the year 2000 C-5 birthday bash to over thirteen hundred C-5 Corvette owners was the breathtaking newly donated, magnetic red, 2000 Corvette convertible.

The Warren County Prevention Partnership provided the donated Corvette and Advisory Council Member Mr. Joe Spielman of the General Motors Corporation made the presentation to Captain Joe Jakub, Project Director.  Mr. Spielman pointed out that Warren County is the home of the Corvette and this vehicle is very appropriate.  Members of the partnership are developing their strategies to develop this C-5 Corvette into the world-class attention getting vehicle needed for our drug and violence prevention programs.  To date, Liberty Graphics designed the theme and applied the vinyl to make this an outstanding visible unit.  Borla performance along with Midas muffler installed an intake and exhaust system to enhance performance.  Mobile Communications spent days installing radios, scanner, and several strobe systems provided by Whelen engineering of Ohio.  Bluegrass cellular installed one of their upscale cellular systems with Internet access into the Corvette.  Drawtite Corporation of Michigan installed a hitch so this unique Corvette can tow the “American Spirit” Harley to various events across this country.  This initial phase to get this Corvette rolling is only the beginning to making this “Crimefighter Corvette”, the ultimate drug prevention tool in reaching kids of all ages.
